We love animals, but please don’t use our machines to wash or dry horse blankets. The hair clogs the drains. We can send horse blankets out for cleaning, though. See an attendant at the service counter Monday–Friday between 7 am and 6 pm.

Tide, All Free & Clear, and Downy fabric softener. If you prefer another brand, simply provide your own detergents for us to use.

The machines will not start after 9:45 pm, so make sure you begin your loads before then.

You can still get out from any of the front doors, but you won’t be able to get back in until the store opens again the next day at 6 am.

We recommend:

Less than ¼-cup of liquid detergent for the machines that wash double loads

 ¼-cup of liquid detergent for the machines that wash four loads

1/2-cup of liquid detergent for the machines that wash six

2/3-cup of liquid detergent for the machines that wash eight loads

Look at drawings of baskets on the fronts of the washers to see how many loads they hold.

Flip the black lid on the top of the washer and follow this guide:

If you put your supplies in the wrong compartment, don’t worry. It’ll still work the same as if the supplies were added correctly.

In the washer with your items, not in the top dispenser.

If an attendant is on-site, let us know right away so we can help. If you’re washing items during self-service hours, complete an “out of order” card and drop it in the box. If a refund is necessary, we’ll get that to you as soon as we can.

Yes. Please make sure you’ve rinsed out the poopies as much as you can. If you’re washing while an attendant is on duty, let us know when you’re finished and we’ll run a sanitizing cycle after your wash is done.

Drop off your items at the service counter Monday­–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, or Saturday, 10 am–2 pm. Dry cleaning is sent out every Monday and Wednesday for pick-up on the following Monday or Wednesday. The service counter is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Holidays may delay your order.

When the schools in the Viroqua Area School District are delayed are closed, so is our service counter. However, the laundry is open for self-service use.

Yes. Swipe your card in either direction on the reader on the fronts of all washers and dryers. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Monday­–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, and Saturday, 10 am–2 pm.

County Seat Laundry does not. However, our dry cleaning partner, Hangers to Hems, does. It’s best to go directly to one of their La Crosse area locations for accurate measurements.

Yes, if you ask us to or if we happen to notice a stain. However, we can’t guarantee results.
